Calvary serves and supports several local ministries that are housed at Calvary Church and serve the people in our neighborhoods and community, including:

Mount Airy Net, Inc.: This cooperative network of ecumenical churches, civic organizations, local businesses, and individuals provides a safety net of emergency support and services for our Mount Airy neighbors in need. Begun in 1992 by a group of local pastors who saw a need for these services, it was incorporated in 1993. Calvary Church houses both the Crisis Center office and the Food Pantry. Volunteers are often needed in the Crisis Center to answer calls from our neighbors who need assistance, to lend a caring ear, and to share our resources or point them in a direction to find longer-term solutions for their situations. The Food Pantry always needs non-perishable food donations to restock their shelves and volunteers to pack the grocery carts for distribution to those who need them.
