Calvary serves and supports a variety of missionaries and mission organizations to meet the needs of people in other parts of Maryland and in the U.S., including:

Latino Initiative/Hispanic UMC: This ministry is housed at Trinity United Methodist Church in Frederick, Maryland and serves the growing Latino population in Frederick, Maryland and the surrounding communities. The fruits of this initiative include training for new Hispanic church leaders, events for Hispanic youth, Spanish A.A. meetings, worship, Sunday School and Bible Study conducted in Spanish, English classes, and health care training. This initiative has helped forge relationships between Hispanics and non-Hispanics in Christian love.

YOUTH MINISTRIES: Calvary supports two ministries that reach out to middle and senior high school students in Maryland.

Young Life-West Mont
gomery

IVCF is an interdenominational organization providing Christian ministries and activities for college students throughout the United States. Calvary specifically partners with Natalie & Justin Tibbels, who serve at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, and Carrie Haslbeck, who serves at Hood and McDaniel Colleges. Calvary has been in partnership for many years with Rev. Earnie & Ruth Hummer; Ruth is on staff at the COM headquarters in Pennsylvania and Earnie is President Emeritus of the Board of Directors and a retired United Methodist Pastor.
