Calvary serves and supports a variety of missionaries and mission organizations to meet the needs of people in other parts of Maryland and in the U.S., including:

Latino Initiative/Hispanic UMC: This ministry is housed at Trinity United Methodist Church in Frederick, Maryland and serves the growing Latino population in Frederick, Maryland and the surrounding communities. The fruits of this initiative include training for new Hispanic church leaders, events for Hispanic youth, Spanish A.A. meetings, worship, Sunday School and Bible Study conducted in Spanish, English classes, and health care training. This initiative has helped forge relationships between Hispanics and non-Hispanics in Christian love. 

YOUTH MINISTRIES: Calvary supports two ministries that reach out to middle and senior high school students in Maryland.

Young Life-West Mont
 County: Young Life's mission is to introduce adolescents in middle and high schools to Jesus Christ and to help them grow in their faith. Calvary is blessed to be able to support Chris Eckard, a Calvary UMC member and a young man who grew up in our church, who is now in full-time ministry at the West Montgomery County Young Life located in Laytonsville, Maryland. Central Maryland Youth for Christ: 
Part of the larger worldwide Youth for Christ organization (see, their vision is to see every young person in every people group in every nation have the opportunity to make an informed decision to be a follower of Jesus Christ and become a part of the local church. Calvary's UMYF (youth fellowship program) participates each year in Youth for Christ's Alive Conference for middle school students and the Impact Conference for senior high students. Providing ministries, activities and services for youth in middle and high schools in Maryland, Calvary primarily supports the ministries of Arn Bjorndal, Executive Director of the Central Maryland chapter, and Rebekah Davis, who oversees Student Clubs for youth in Frederick County. COLLEGE CAMPUS MINISTRIES: Calvary supports several ministries reaching out to college students – our future leaders.

DiscipleMakers is a Pennsylvania-based Christian mission organization ministering to college students. DiscipleMakers seeks to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ on college campuses through Biblically based training in evangelism and discipleship. Calvary is blessed to be able to support Andy & Melissa Dorrance Cimbala, a member of Calvary who grew up in our church, who is now in full-time ministry at DiscipleMakers. InterVarsity Christian Fellowship USA: Tracing its roots back to British university students in the 1870s, the first InterVarsity chapter in the United States began in 1938 at the University of Michigan. IVCF is an interdenominational organization providing Christian ministries and activities for college students throughout the United States. Calvary specifically partners with Natalie & Justin Tibbels, who serve at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, and Carrie Haslbeck, who serves at Hood and McDaniel Colleges. China Outreach Ministries: This campus ministry reaches out to Chinese students on college campuses throughout the U.S. Their goal is to share the Gospel in a way they can understand and to train and equip transformed Chinese leaders to return to China as indigenous ambassadors for the Gospel to their own people and culture. Calvary has been in partnership for many years with Rev. Earnie & Ruth Hummer; Ruth is on staff at the COM headquarters in Pennsylvania and Earnie is President Emeritus of the Board of Directors and a retired United Methodist Pastor.
