Calvary MOPS

MOPS is Mothers of Preschoolers, a program led and attended by mothers, designed for those with children ages birth to 5. We mothers all have a shared desire ... to be the best mothers we can be, and to find other moms to share the experience with!

At our meetings, we have small-group sharing time, to get to know each other better and share ideas and stories about mom-friendly topics. We have a speaker from the community or maybe watch a short video, and we also do a craft project to take home or for charity. Sessions this year will include one on living an organized life with toddlers (!) and another on building community. This year we will be working on Operation Christmas Child, among other service projects. Best of all, every meeting has a ton of great food -- we enjoy eating and socializing with each other every month. Because child care is provided, moms get a chance to enjoy some restful time together away from the demands of the household.

Calvary MOPS will meet from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. on the third Tuesday of each month, beginning September 15 through June 15. If you missed us at Registration Day, visit our website at www.calvarymops.blogspot.com to learn more about our group and find out how to register.

All moms regardless of church or religious affiliation are welcome to attend MOPS, so invite your neighbors, too! You may attend MOPS with or without your children-- but if you bring them, quality, loving childcare is provided (ages birth to 5) for a $2 per child, per meeting fee to cover the cost.
