COMING MUSIC EVENTS

CALVARY CABARET

Third annual Calvary Cabaret and Silent Auction, to benefit Calvary's youth ministries - Postponed due to the blizzard to Saturday, March 20, 2010, 7:00 PM.

BACH FESTIVAL

Sunday afternoon, March 7, 2010, featuring music by all of Calvary's choirs and guest artists. Schedule: Bach's Lunches @ 12:15 PM; Introduction to J.S. Bach @ 12:45 PM; Bach Concert at 1:30 PM. An offering taken during the concert will benefit UMCOR's Haitian relief program. For more details click here.

EASTER MUSIC AT CALVARY

During the 11 AM service on Easter, the choir will sing Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus" from Messiah. If you would like to be part of the choir to sing this special music, come to Room 112 on Thursdays at 7:45 PM between March 1 and 22 for rehearsals. Special rehearsal on Monday, March 29, at 7:30 PM.

Wesley Ringers - (16 to adults) - Tuesdays, 7:30 PM, Rm 111

Forte Bell Choir - (8 - 15) - Tuesdays, 6:30 PM, Rm 111

Sisters in Song - (adult women) - Alternate Thursdays, 6:00 PM, Rm 112

Spirit Singers - (16 to adult) - Thursdays, 6:45 PM, Rm 112

Chancel Choir - (adult) - Thursdays, 7:45 PM, Rm 112

Cherub Choir - (4 - 6) - Thursdays, 6:00 PM, Rm 103

Calvary Singers - (Grades 2 - 5) - Thursdays, 6:00 PM, Rm 206

Heirs of Joy Mission Choir - (adult) - First Tuesday of each month, 7:30 PM, Rm 112

You don't need to have any previous choir experience. All you need is:
    • a love of singing or ringing handbells
    • a desire to sing or ring praises to God
    • the time to commit to weekly rehearsals and Sunday services

ANTHEM DEDICATIONS
Would you like to be able to dedicate a song to someone you love? You have the opportunity to underwrite the purchase of a choir anthem by designating a gift of $50 for a choir anthem in honor or memory of a particular person. More information is available at the Calvary Connection in the church narthex.
