Calvary Community Care
Calvary Community Care is a two-prong mission at Calvary United Methodist Church in Mount Airy, Maryland. We collect diapers, pull-ups, wipes, and board books for local residents that we distribute one Saturday each month.
We also serve as a Hub to collect supplies for UMCOR Disaster Relief Kits.

We distribute diapers monthly on the 3rd
Saturday of each month 10:00am to 2:00pm
in the rear parking lot

About the Diaper Ministry

Disposable diapers for a single baby can cost approximately $70 per month! While families in need may receive government benefits, they cannot be used to purchase diapers. This is a serious health, safety and quality of life concern.
- Average infants use 6-10 diapers per day!
- Babies will use around 6,000 diapers during their first two years of life!
- Disposable diapers for a single baby can cost approx. $70 per month
- Laundromats do not allow cloth diapers to be washed in public machines.
- Government assistance funds can not be used to purchase diapers.
Always accepting diaper and baby wipes donations
as well as donations of new and gently
used board books.
Greatest need is sizes 5, 6, and 7 and pull-ups sizes 4T-5T

A 24hr donation bin is available at the rear entrance at 403 South Main Street.
