IN-PERSON WORSHIP INFO

When: 

  • Sundays at 10:00AM.  

Getting there:

  • 403 South Main Street, Mount Airy, MD 21771.  Enter from Main Street and proceed up the hill to the right of the church or enter from Paradise Avenue.
  • After parking, enter through the rear double doors.  Handicapped parking and parking for those with mobility issues is available in the front parking lot and you can enter through the lower level.  Greeters will be there to hold the door for you.  Welcome!

What to bring: 

  • Please bring and wear a mask regardless of vaccination status – ages 2 and older (update 8/24/21)
  • If you like to have a bible available during worship, please bring one with you

What to expect:

  • Music will include Contemporary Praise music (with the Worship Band) and Traditional hymns with piano or organ accompaniment.  Congregants we welcome to sing along, and lyrics will be provided via projector
  • Seating areas will be spaced for social distancing.  Those in attendance are asked to find seating according to their level of comfort and socially distance to the levels they feel are necessary.
  • Please do not utilize pew bibles or hymnals 
  • Those speaking or singing in the band or choir will remove their mask while at the microphone and put it back on as they return to their seat.  Distance and plexiglass barriers will be between these speakers/singers and the congregation.  More info on precautions for singing and speakers available here
  • Service will last approximately 35-40 minutes
  • Children can go to children’s church or remain with a parent
  • We have several electronic giving options.  There will also be instructions for in-person giving during service.

 

Communion (first Sunday of each month):

  • Communion will be served with a sealed container (cup and bread are both sealed).
  • Ushers will distribute the communion elements  
  • Following communion, ushers will come by with trash receptacles for you to place the cup into

Children:

  • Kids are very welcome at Calvary, and we don’t expect them to be silent or still.   Children’s Sunday School is also available during regular worship time.  Details here.

ONLINE WORSHIP INFO

When? Where?: 

  • Sundays at 10:00AM on Facebook
This service will be live-streamed at the Calvary Facebook Page  Please bear with us if there are technical difficulties.  We hope to add a YouTube live stream option in the near future.  A Facebook account is not required to watch the Live video
 

What to expect:

  • The service is a livestream of our in-person service. 
  • Please fill out a Connect Card to let us know who is joining us on Sundays online
  • We have several electronic giving options.  There will also be instructions for in-person giving during service.

 

Communion (first Sunday of each month):

  • Please prepared by having some bread and juice available.  The pastor will guide you through Communion.   
  • Communion is generally immediately following the sermon
