Safe Sanctuary

Calvary United Methodist Church implements this Safe Sanctuary policy to protect children, youth, vulnerable adults, and volunteers from all forms of abuse and/or harassment and demonstrate our unwavering commitment to their physical safety, mental well-being, and spiritual growth.

Those volunteering with Children and Youth will need to take Safe Sanctuary training, be familiar with the Safe Sanctuary policy, submit to a background check, and annually complete a Laity Sexual Misconduct questionnaire. Links to required documents and forms can be found below.

To become Safe Sanctuary compliant:

1. Take Safe Sanctuary Training (or refresher)

2. Complete and submit the Laity Sexual Misconduct Form

3. Complete the Background Authorization Form
